The Kovax 9710091 is a 15-Hole Super Assilex Interface Pad for 6-inch sanding discs, engineered for use with 15-hole Kovax Super Assilex and Super Buflex discs in the Kovax dry sanding system. The 15-hole pattern aligns with the vacuum ports of 15-hole discs to maintain dust extraction efficiency while the foam pad layer cushions disc contact against the panel surface — reducing pressure hotspots and improving scratch uniformity during DA sanding.

Positioned between the backup pad and abrasive disc, the interface pad increases surface flexibility for improved conformity across contoured body panels, blending zones, and curved edges. The soft foam construction minimizes deep scratches and pigtailing, particularly when sanding at finer grits (K-1000 through K-1500) where scratch uniformity directly affects polish time. Compatible with the Kovax PROMA-X Air Sander, Kovax DA Sander, and most standard 6-inch DA sanders. Sold in a box of 25.
