The Mirka AE24105041 is a P400 Grit Autonet Grip Mesh Sanding Disc, part of the Mirka Autonet AE241 series — the revolutionary net-based abrasive system specifically developed for the automotive refinishing industry. Autonet's patented construction consists of a dense network of polyamide fabric threads onto which aluminum oxide abrasive grit is bonded, creating an open-weave net structure where nearly 50% of the disc surface is open area — meaning no dust particle is ever more than 0.5 mm from a dust extraction point.

This open net architecture delivers dust extraction efficiency 20–40% greater than conventional perforated paper discs, enabling virtually dust-free sanding that is safer, cleaner, and produces a better surface finish. The patented construction also eliminates clogging and pilling — two of the primary causes of sanding defects and rework — while maintaining aggressive initial cut performance for a longer lifespan than traditional abrasives. P400 grit is suited for primer sanding and keying of all surfaces including high-tech topcoats and clear coats. Can be used dry by hand or by machine, with or without vacuum extraction.
