The Mirka S-BLADE Shark Blade is a miniature solid tungsten carbide denibbing tool designed for quickly and precisely removing paint drips, runs, sags, dirt nibs, and surface blemishes from smooth automotive paint finishes. The sharp chamfered edge is applied at an almost horizontal angle against the paint blemish, allowing the defect to be shaved off in a single controlled sweep — removing only the imperfection while leaving surrounding sound paint undamaged. Although primarily used in automotive and marine paint repair, the Shark Blade has also become a trusted tool among fine decorators specializing in hand and spray-painted furniture and fixtures.
